Three Minute Thesis 2025
The deadline for submissions is 26 October 2025.
For the second time, the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition will be organized at the Warsaw University of Technology! The event is aimed at PhD students who are going to talk about their research on stage – all in just three minutes and without using additional multimedia such as PowerPoint presentations, etc.
3MT was created by the University of Queensland in 2008, and is currently organized in 900 universities in 85 countries. In Poland, the competition has so far been organized only in the Silesian Voivodeship by the Center for the Popularization of Science of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
Event schedule:
- Until October 26, 2025 – Stage I, participant applications
- Until October 30, 2025 – Participants are notified of acceptance and details of the elimination stage;
- November 7, 2025 – Stage II, eliminations;
- November 28, 2025 – Stage III, 3MT competition finals.
